    Georgia State Patrol needs help identifying a motorcyclist who fled from a trooper on Thursday, April 19. The rider was last seen on a red motorcycle. State Patrol followed him in Richmond and Columbia counties until the trooper lost control of his vehicle and crashed on the exit ramp on I-520.

    On April 20, Augusta Fire Department responded to a phone around 5:10 a.m. No one was inside the home during the time of the fire.

    Tonnette Jones is the owner of the destroyed home and she says her deceased husband left the home to his family. "He really loved that house. He wanted me to take care of it and look at what has happened."

    Agents with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division arrested an employee with Bamberg County Family Court in connection with missing funds. Caroline Angela Raysor, 46, was charged with embezzlement of public funds with a value of over $10,000. The case was investigated by SLED at the request of the Bamberg County Sheriff's Office.     The Columbia County Sheriff's Office is looking for a theft suspect. The incident happened at the Walmart in Grovetown on Steiner Way.  At around 10 p.m. on March 27, investigators say the man pictured took $100 left at the self-checkout by the victim.
