Jack Downer
Field Technician
Jack Downer is the manager and chief field technician for High Plains Foundation Repair. As a native of Amarillo, Jack learned the value of hard work at an early age. From building fences to raising cattle, he developed a strong work ethic as a young man. While working outdoors, Jack saw firsthand the damage to a home's foundation that can result from drought, flash floods and even tornadoes. After receiving extensive, hands-on training in all aspects of assessing and repairing home foundations, Jack helped start High Plains Foundation Repair, now serving the greater Amarillo area. "In Amarillo, people value straight talk and a fair price," says Jack. "That's why we take the time to thoroughly understand a homeowner's needs, while providing an accurate and honest assessment of their foundation," he adds. Recognizing that every home in the Amarillo area is unique, Jack believes a reputable foundation repair company should pay close attention to detail, offer a customized repair plan for each homeowner they serve, and provide a range of options for getting repair work completed. When the working day is done, Jack enjoys spending time with his wife, Heather, and his young son, Jack IV. Jack and Heather also care for a young cousin, Mason, who currently lives with their family.
