A second man sits in the Randall County Jail in connection with an attempted robbery turned shooting outside a south Amarillo home on Wednesday.
Amarillo Police say a tip came into CrimeStoppers saying 25 year old Patrick Lee Red also played a role in the attempted robbery. Officers arrested Red.
After talking to him, investigators say he brought both suspects to the home and drove 19 year old Justin Campbell away.
Campbell turned himself into police on Thursday with a gun shot wound to the shoulder.
Investigators believe the injury happened during the incident wednesday when Campbell and his his alleged accomplice, Daniel Bartlett, broke into a home on Hughes St.
