Kyler's K'nex Airport
A Canyon third-grader with dreams of being an architect may win a big prize just for playing with his favorite toy, and you can help.
Gene Howe elementary school student Kyler Kuykendall is one of ten finalists in the national "K'NEXpert" search.
His "K'NEX National Airport" took him over three weeks to build. First prize in the contest is a $15,000 college scholarship.
He told Newschannel10 "Well the competition is going to be really tough because one kid has a roller coaster thats as tall as a two bunk bed. So its gonna be some competition".
The winner will be chosen on-line, and anyone can vote. You have until February 7, 2007 to vote for Kyler's project at www.knex.com.
