TxDOT funding for local projects

Millions of dollars of improvements are coming to Amarillo roadways.

The Texas Transportation Commission approved 24 million dollars for three projects in our area.

A stretch of I-40 just east of Conway to a mile west of FM 2880 will see 9.8 million in improvements.

10 million will go towards fixing I-40 from 1.2 miles west of FM 2880 to the Gray County Line.

And the I-27 frontage roads from bell to Western will see 3.8 million in improvements.
