Lubbock, TX - We now know the man found dead in Lubbock is from our area. Lubbock police responded to a call at The Boulders at Lake Ridge apartment complex this morning.
That's where a 48-year-old man was found dead in his pickup truck. Police say the death is suspicious and are gathering all the facts.
After an investigation the identity of the man has been confirmed as Paul Allen Brown of Tulia. Brown recently moved to one of the units in the aprtment complex.
Authorities do not yet know what the cause of death are treating it as a homicide at this time. "We do an investigation that is a complete homicide investigation in the beginning so if that is the determination that is made. We don't have to play catchup later on," says Captain Greg Stevens of the Lubbock Police Department.
Brown was originally from the Canyon area Lubbock authorities are saying that there is no indication of how long the deceased man was in the truck.
