Amarillo, Texas - The Amarillo Economic Development Corporation is officially giving Bell Helicopter the money it has promised them.
On Tuesday, the city commission votes to authorize the issuance of sales tax revenue bonds.
$31 million of those bonds will help pay for Bell's phase four expansion of the Amarillo assembly center.
That will help the production of the V-22 Osprey.
An additional amount of more than $7.5 million will go toward Zargas Aluminum systems.
