Wrong Way Driver Causes Deadly Wreck

A speeding driver going the wrong way on Georgia has landed several people in the hospital and another person dead.

Amarillo police say the driver of a black Chevy was speeding south in the northbound lane in the 4100 block of Georgia around 8 Sunday morning. They say he hit two vehicles going north.

The driver of the Chevy was pronounced dead on scene while Daniel and Bonnie McClure, who were in a car that was hit, were taken to a hospital for minor injuries. Tommy Bolden, the driver of the other car, was not injured.
