Lady Buffs fall in overtime to conference rival Angelo State in South Central Regional Semifinals

AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - The Lady Buffs’ season came to an end Saturday night in the South Central Regional Semfinal.

West Texas A&M faced off against Angelo State, and lost the game for the first time in four matchups this season.

The Lady Buffs fell behind early, and spent most of the game trying to claw their way back.

WT had a four point lead with 18 seconds left on the clock, but the game was tied at 60 at the end of regulation.

The Rambelles ended the game with some free throws and three pointers to claim the 73-70 OT win.

The Lady Buffs finish their season at 29-4 and won both the Lone Star Conference regular season title and the Lone Star Conference Tournament title.

Lady Buff Basketball says goodbye to three seniors

The program says goodbye to three seniors: two year players Tyesha Taylor and Deleyah Harris, and four year player Reagan Haynes, a Gruver native.
