AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - Amarillo City Hall is back open after being closed due to a power outage.

As of 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, power was restored at City Hall and is reopened.

City crews are now working to repair and replace traffic signs that were damaged by wind, prioritizing stop and yield signs.

The city also reported that the Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport has resumed normal operations, as well as the Amarillo Zoo and Amarillo City Transit.

Brush sites are open at Hastings and Eastern on Thursday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Curbside cart service will resume on Friday. Residents may leave debris near the curb for pickup and are asked to call solid waste at (806) 378-6810 for notification. The city said they will not be able to remove large debris from private property.
