WT won the matchup by a final score of 72-59. The Buffs were led by their seniors- Gach Gach had 21 points, followed by 15 from Ryan Quaid.

The Buffs have swept the regular season series against the Aggies for the last three years. In their most recent matchup, WT topped Cameron 83-70.

The Buffs are the number one seed in the region going into the LSC Tournament. Three wins in Frisco this weekend would mean not only an LSC tournament title, but the chance to host the Regional in Canyon this year.

The Buffs will take on Tarleton State, who beat Eastern New Mexico in overtime, on Saturday for the semifinal.
