AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC), along with Get FIT to Stay Fit and the American Cancer Society, will host a Colorectal Cancer Roundtable on Thursday, March 7.
The roundtable is designed to educate and inform community members and health care professionals, educators and administrators, students and social services professionals about the latest developments in colorectal cancer screening and treatment.
The discussion will feature doctors and colorectal cancer survivors.
The roundtable will take place from Noon until 1:00 p.m.
After the roundtable, screenings will be available for free.
Screening swill be available from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday and then from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8.
