AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - Window On a Wider World is hosting various events this week for the public for a chance to experience first-hand programs that they provide that aim to inspire the next generation for the children in the Panhandle.

As part of their mission to enrich students in the Panhandle through arts, science and cultural experiences, Window On a Wider World is hosting an art show and a public concert this week.

On Wednesday, Feb. 27, WOWW will host their 5th Annual Youth Art Show in the Gilliland Education Room located in the Globe-News Center. The art exposition is for fourth and fifth graders in the Panhandle. Ten winners will received $100 for best artwork.

On Thursday, Feb. 28 WOWW will host international instrumentalist Todd Green at the Globe-News Center for a public concert. Green will share with the audience his musical talent of performing with over 1,000 instruments.

Both events begin at 6:00 p.m.
