Hess signed on to play at Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas, while Duran will head to East Texas Baptist University in Marshall.

The girls grew up playing soccer together and said being able to sign together made the day even more special.

“We’ve grown up with each other, so it was such a big deal to be able to take this next step together since we won’t be able to play together in college,” expressed Hess.

Both girls factored in the Christian values of the institutions and the small-town communities as major influences on their decisions.
