AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - A world famous Old Master’s work is going on display in Canadian.

Rare work by Rembrandt to be displayed in Canadian

More than 30 rare etchings from the 1600′s by Rembrandt will be showing at The Citadelle Art Foundation from Friday, Sept. 21 through Dec. 22.

According to an invitation to the show, the artist blurred the lines between lowly and holy and between sordid and sacred. The focus of the sow is beggars and Biblical figures as portrayed in Rembrandt’s etchings.

We're one week closer to the opening of "Sordid and Sacred: The Beggars in Rembrandt's Etchings," featuring selections from the John Villarino Collection! We can't wait for September 21st to get here!
